The preschool began at St. Mark's school and is currently operating in St. Joseph the Worker Church at 1771 Bond St. Regina. This facility boasts a 2,000 sq. ft. space filled with several play stations, as well as arts and craft centers. Morning and Afternoon classes are offered Mondays through Thursdays. Classes are offered for both 3 and 4 year olds. As our curriculum is not repeated in the second year, children will typically attend the preschool for 2 years.
The children will start their day with a play period where they have access to computers, sand, water, toys, dressup, puzzles, playdough, and much more. This play period is followed by a craft and lesson period each day. During the course of the year, children will be instructed in colors, shapes, alphabets, numbers as well as many different themes, such as Outer Space and Dinosaurs.
Craft time is followed by a snacktime, storytime, music and movement. Little Rascals offers a very valuable program for the preschool age child. The students will learn to be independent and prepare for entering Kindergarten while enjoying a fun filled environment that fosters learning.
